Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Beta Notice

kordi is currently in beta. The Service is provided as an evolving product, may contain bugs, and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice. By using kordi during beta, you accept the inherent risks of using pre-release software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the kordi website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by kordi, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“kordi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using kordi, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

3. Accounts and Security

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
  • Maintain the security of your credentials and not share them with any third party;
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to or use of your account;
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

4. The Service

kordi is a personal finance and subscription management tool that helps users track recurring expenses, monitor streaming services, manage watchlists, and receive periodic briefings. Specific features available to you may depend on your subscription tier and may change over time. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at our sole discretion.

5. Credit Card Recommendations and Affiliate Disclosure

kordi may surface credit card products and recommendations based on your subscription mix, spending patterns, and stated preferences. These recommendations are informational only and do not constitute financial, credit, or investment advice. kordi is not a financial advisor, broker, or credit counselor.

You are solely responsible for evaluating any credit card before applying. Card terms — including APR, fees, rewards rates, sign-up bonus requirements, and category eligibility — are set by the issuing financial institution and may change at any time. Information shown in kordi may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Before applying for any credit card, you agree to:

  • Read the issuer’s full terms, conditions, and pricing schedule;
  • Independently verify all rates, fees, and rewards;
  • Assess whether the product is appropriate for your financial situation.

Credit Inquiry Notice. Applying for a credit card typically results in a hard inquiry on your credit report, which may temporarily lower your credit score. kordi does not control or initiate credit applications; you complete any application directly with the issuer.

Affiliate Disclosure. kordi may receive compensation from card issuers or referral partners when you click certain links or open accounts through kordi. This compensation may influence which products are displayed and where they appear, but does not affect our editorial assessment of any product. We may receive payment whether or not your application is approved. Compensation is paid by the issuer or partner, not by you, and does not change the terms offered to you.

kordi makes no guarantee that you will be approved for any product, that you will receive any advertised bonus, or that any product will produce the savings or rewards estimated by the Service.

6. Subscription Tiers and Payment

kordi offers free and paid subscription tiers. By selecting a paid tier, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase;
  • Authorize us, or our payment processor, to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel;
  • Be responsible for any taxes, currency-conversion fees, or other charges associated with your purchase.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms. We may change pricing for any tier with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use of a paid tier after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@kordiapp.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

7. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service (“User Content”), including subscription details, watchlist entries, and preferences. You grant kordi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service;
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harassing content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by kordi, LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, and content APIs. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, kordi disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. kordi is a tracking and informational tool; we do not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Any decisions you make based on information provided by the Service are made at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall kordi, LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid kordi in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless kordi, LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) your User Content.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any action not subject to arbitration under Section 14 shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and seated in Sheridan, Wyoming, or remotely as the AAA permits.

Class Action Waiver. You and kordi agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@kordiapp.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court’s jurisdiction.

15. Beta Software

You acknowledge that the Service is currently offered in beta form. Beta features may be incomplete, contain bugs, change without notice, or be removed entirely. kordi makes no representations regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of beta features and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from their use. By using the Service during the beta period, you agree to provide reasonable feedback if requested and to not publicly disclose non-public details of unreleased features without our consent.

16. Modifications to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your account.

17. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us within the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and kordi concerning the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
